We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Inventory Planner & Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain management, demand forecasting, and inventory control. The Inventory Planner will work closely with various departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with business needs and customer demands.

Tasks

Your core responsibility is to ensure that our inventory is sufficient to meet demand, preventing any stockouts.

• Forecast Demand: Utilize historic Amazon SellerCentral data to accurately forecast demand.
• Perform Stock Calculations: Determine when and how much product to reorder based on sales data and inventory levels.
• Create Production Plans: Develop detailed production plans for stock reordering to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Oversee Reordering Process: Manage the entire reordering process, from demand forecasting to delivery to the Amazon fulfillment center, ensuring timely and accurate restocking.

Requirements

Experience:

• Proven experience with inventory management.
• Demonstrated experience with stock reordering, creating international production plans, transportation, etc.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics and Transportation, or a similar field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
