Essential Responsibilities

  • Supporting in managing and executing investments across the cycle from screening, modelling, negotiations, counterparty negotiations, transaction documentation and final approvals
  • Assist the transaction lead on coordinating with external advisers and stakeholders including specialist advisers, developers and financial institutions
  • Assist in the preparation of relevant approval documents and support on presentations to senior management;
  • Help to monitor ongoing financial performance of the portfolio and prepare reports for periodic updates to senior management
  • Contribute to the building and improving of credit processes and deal management information systems
  • Build expertise within our target focus areas including being proactive with deep dives, sector mapping and network building
  • Participate in strategic reviews and support preparation of white papers on new initiatives

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 2.1 or above in any bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Economics
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an energy investment business
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in German and English (written and oral)
  • Legal authorization to work in Germany
