Assistant Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology (m/w/d) – Wipperfürth About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Physician (m/w/d) to join a well-regarded hospital specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Your Responsibilities

• Working in a comprehensive care unit with 29 beds, providing essential services in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Managing a wide range of clinical cases including operative gynecology and care for pregnancies from the 36th week onward.
• Participating actively in a high-volume obstetrics service with over 600 births annually.
• Gaining hands-on experience in a modern delivery suite with thorough supervision.
• Assisting in surgical procedures with progressive autonomy under senior medical staff.
• Providing empathetic and professional care to patients and their families.
• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Your Profile

• Possession of a valid German medical license (Approbation).
• Proficient German language skills at C1 level or higher.
• Strong commitment and passion for patient-centered care.
• Interest in academic medicine, research, and teaching.
• Openness to learning, teamwork, and maintaining a service-oriented, respectful, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work cooperatively with nursing and other healthcare professionals on equal footing.
