We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position as "Buyer Customer Service Aerostructure Procurement" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

  • Daily Pricing/RFQ Management: Execute daily Price Requests (RFQs) for spare parts and services to ensure competitive pricing and rapid response capability, which is critical for Customer Service operations
  • Strategy Development: Lead the definition and implementation of category-specific purchasing strategies for the Aerostructure Customer Service area, ensuring long-term supply security and cost optimization
  • Sourcing: Responsibly perform and lead Call for Tender (CFTs), including needsanalysis, market scouting, negotiation, supplier selection, and contracting for complex aerostructure components and MRO services
  • Contract & Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive Contract Lifecycle Management, including the negotiation, establishment, implementation, and regular review of trans-national and trans-divisional Contracts, considering compliance and risk factors
  • Daily Pricing/RFQ Management: Execute daily Price Requests (RFQs) for spare parts and services to ensure competitive pricing and rapid response capability, which is critical for Customer Service operations
  • Supplier Performance: Actively manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and lead ongoing procurement projects with the primary goal of optimizing Customer Value while minimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and associated risks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Implement standardized Procurement Routines (e.g., Supplier Multi-Functional Teams) and effective cross-functional work (especially with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams) to ensure visibility and success of all started Terms of Work (ToWs)
  • Strategic Growth: Initiate and accompany strategic supplier developments, particularly to ensure capacity and technological maturity within the demanding Customer Service environment
  • Claim Management: Perform and lead Claim Management with external suppliers in cases of contractual deviations, quality defects, or delivery delays, safeguarding Airbus' interests
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Proactively identify and implement cost reduction and value creation initiatives (Value Engineering) in coordination with technical teams

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics or a comparable qualification
  • Over 3 years of professional experience in the following areas: procurement, commercial administration, and contract management
  • Over 2 years of professional experience in project management
  • Over 1 year of professional experience in process improvement.
  • Good knowledge of working with SAP
  • knowledge of working with Google Workspace
  • Advanced German language skills
  • Fluent in English
