Your responsibilities:

• Leading the acute geriatric ward with 25 beds
• Collaborating closely with trauma surgery and orthopedics in the certified geriatric trauma center
• Supervising junior doctors and coordinating a multidisciplinary geriatric team
• Implementing delirium prevention and management programs
• Developing initiatives to promote a dementia-friendly hospital environment
• Engaging in quality assurance and departmental planning activities

Your profile:

• Board-certified specialist (m/w/d) in internal medicine or neurology
• Additional qualification in geriatrics
• Several years of experience in a geriatric hospital setting preferred
• Skilled in communicating empathetically with elderly patients with cognitive impairments
• High social competence, reliability, and dedication
• Enjoys interdisciplinary teamwork and conceptual development
