We are currently seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist (m/w/d) specializing in psychotherapy for a well-established hospital in the greater Cottbus area. This position offers a direct employment contract with the healthcare provider. Your Qualifications:

• Completed medical degree with German medical license (Approbation)
• Board certification in psychiatry and psychotherapy (m/w/d)
• Proficient command of the German language, both spoken and written
• Extensive experience in managing psychiatric disorders with a comprehensive approach including social context
• Independent and responsible working style
• Strong resilience and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Valid driving license (Class B)

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatment planning, and documentation, including discharge management
• Contributing to the conceptual development of outpatient-equivalent treatment models in adult psychiatry
• Engaging in interdisciplinary and extramural cooperation
• Providing patient care in both clinical and home settings
• Collaborating within a mobile, multi-professional team
• Advising patients and their families, and liaising with public authorities and complementary service providers
