A well-established social psychiatric center in the Greater Essen region is seeking to hire a board-certified specialist (m/w/d) in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy immediately. This is a permanent position with a direct employment contract between you and the employer. Doc Personalberatung facilitates the connection to the company and supports you confidentially and free of charge throughout the entire hiring process until contract signing.

Your Profile:

  • Possession of German medical licensure (Approbation) as a physician
  • Board certification as a specialist (Facharzt) in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy
  • Extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of psychosomatic and psychiatric disorders
  • Commitment to patient-centered care with creativity and professional dedication
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Motivation to contribute to the development and enhancement of modern care structures
  • Flexibility and willingness to engage in continuous professional and personal development

Your Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive diagnostic assessment, therapeutic planning, and ongoing management of patients with psychosomatic and psychological conditions
  • Conducting individual and group psychotherapy sessions employing evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, systemic therapy, and somatically oriented interventions
  • Close cooperation with an interdisciplinary team including other medical specialists, psychotherapists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Participation in case reviews, quality assurance measures, and the development of treatment protocols
