Tasks

  • Pre-sales, design, and implementation of solutions for enterprise broadband connectivity and their network management
  • Creating presentations, client materials, and market analyses
  • Training and technical consultation for clients and sales partners
  • Technical leadership in RFI/RFQ-related matters
  • Interface with sales, product management, R&D, and business development

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • Senior: Understanding of Layer 2/3 network architectures
  • Senior: Development of concepts and their professional visualization
  • Intermediate: Command Line Interface (CLI), e.g., Cisco, Juniper, ...
  • Intermediate: Operation of Network Management Systems (NMS)
  • Intermediate: Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge: Installation of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Negotiation-level English, basic knowledge of German, Spanish, and/or French advantageous
  • Business travel focused on Europe: 20-40%

Nice to have:

  • Experience with operating measurement tools, e.g., router testers, Wireshark
  • Knowledge of Ethernet/IP protocols, e.g., SNMP, CESoPSN, VRRP
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
  • Knowledge of virtualized systems
  • Systems: Salesforce, Jira, Confluence
