Description and Requirements
The Lenovo Value Recovery Service (VRS) Organisation focuses to reduce the impact of products on the environment by applying business intelligence to maximize reuse and recovery across the product lifecycle. In addition, the VRS team works across functional organizations to maximize the valuation and extend the lifecycle of assets to provide incremental residual value to Lenovo's Customers.
As Lenovo EMEA Asset Recovery Services (ARS) Solution Architect you will work closely with the Global Asset Recovery teams, the Lenovo sales team, Project Management Office, Engineering, vendors, and the customer to ensure a smooth handover from the solution phase to the project planning, initiation and beyond. You will develop comprehensive, innovative, and cost-effective solutions within the various value recovery initiatives to enable Lenovo's customers to achieve their business goals while maximizing the valuation of their retiring assets. In addition, this position will also evaluate customer opportunities as presented in RFPs/RFQs or direct engagements from the Services and Hardware Sales teams and use this information to develop solutions to meet the customer's requirements.
You will be responsible for developing and communicating creative value recovery service solutions for customers to drive positive value-add, return-on-investments, and lower the total cost of ownership of their assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams and Lenovo vendors to analyze customer processes and environments to provide value recovery expertise and overall solution recommendations. Translate the requirements into solutions delivered by Lenovo. Create business case collateral to be leveraged to assist sales in closing potential opportunities. Educate customers and internal stakeholders on value recovery services. Engage as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on value recovery solutions. Challenge existing processes to ensure delivery of the best solution for the customer. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of certifications, technology, tools, and toolsets in the industry. Position Requirements:
7+ years' experience in solution development, contract creation and negotiation, business development, project management and/or services operations experience. Experience in project management, product lifecycle management, customer and vendor contracting. Experience with electronic product end-of-life management. Experience with process improvements across multiple regions within an organization. Vendor management and running an effective business management system. Strong ability to produce, leverage and interpret big data sets and operationalize for decision making. Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result. You will report to EMEA Services Solution Sales Manager
