GFIC recruits for a Global Colour company:

Europe Sales Director Organic Pigments and Dyes to Plastics, Coating and Inks Industry

​Location: Home office

Area: Europe

Education: Chemical Engineering or similar

Must have is in deep experience in the Pigments and Dyes industry

Must have for the application is a cover letter where do you describe your experience in Pigments and Dyes

Tasks

Key Accountabilities:

  • Development and execution of sales plan to achieve target

  • Resource planning – Recruit, training and manage sales team. Allocate, measure and evaluate work load of the sales team

  • KEY Account management

  • Develop and implement sales initiatives and strategies to target key demographics (Market /Countries) for new business development

  • Identify Industries where dyes and pigments used.

  • Customer site visits to discuss their needs, sales promotion and to assess the quality of company’s relationship with them and collect market knowledge

  • Encourage on generating new leads through telephone conversations, exhibition and other databases ( Google, magazine, etc)

  • Provide support to sales team as they generate leads and close new deals

  • Give targets and monitor Sales Budget on CRM , give sales deviation report for follow up and seek explanation for loss of business to ensure existing business management.

  • Benchmarking competitors: Analyze and collect competitor information to improve sales strategies.

  • Discuss Price quotations, samples requests , projects utilizing in-house CRM follow internal procedure

  • Exhibitions – Participation &/or attendance required

  • Diagnose causes of customer complaints, and give solution.

  • Follow up critical debtors with sales team.

  • Team working with internal departments in day to day tasks.

  • Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.

  • Discuss and provide weekly and monthly report of sales team

Requirements

SKILL / ABILITIES REQURIED: Candidate Profile:

  • Fluent in writing and spoken English and local languages
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing sales team and commercial operations
  • Extensive customer contact for product promotion.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of industrial dyes and pigments
  • Excellent business relationship management skills, persuading and influencing people to generate and secure higher levels of business.
  • build powerful presentations to deliver sales messages and overcome resistance.
  • structured powerful persuasive techniques in a patient, calm and effective way
  • Use of IT ( SAP, SAGE, Microsoft word, excel, access and Internet)
