Remote freelance role (work-from-home) with flexible hours; 20+ hrs/week preferred. Native-level German required; open to candidates in any German-speaking country. Project runs until the end of December 2025.

Was du machen wirst:

DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for Freelance Linguists/Speech Data Verifiers with idiomatic fluency in German (Germany).

You will listen to short German audio clips and correct or refine pre-annotated labels describing voice and speech characteristics to support AI speech technologies.

Requirements include: native/idiomatic German, advanced English, excellent listening and writing skills, linguistics or related degree (phonetics/phonology preferred), strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and at least 20 hours/week availability. Experience with data analysis, speech/text-to-speech, audio annotation, and online annotation tools is a plus. Applicants must pass a brief qualification test and complete a 1-minute questionnaire sent via email after applying.
