Our Team
The energy trading unit is responsible for optimizing assets across all markets, balancing renewables, and proprietary trading. We trade short term power algorithmically in an expanding geographical scope and have a highly technical team of veteran software engineers, leading AI experts and power trading professionals.

We are looking to strengthen our team with a Head of Power Operations (m/f/d). This is a unique opportunity to build up the engine room of our trading and balancing operations and also grow into areas that may be new to you.

Aufgaben

• Take responsibility for energy data management
• Take responsibility for nomination of schedules e.g. in ESS
• Own the interface to TSOs and DSOs and relevant projects and processes
• Be a system and product owner for the systems facilitating energy data management
• Managing internal and external service providers
• Possibility to extend responsibilities towards master data management and taking responsibilities for adjacent systems including virtual power plant or redispatch 2.0.

Qualifikation

• University degree
• 2+ years experience in energy data management, especially MaBiS / MaKo, experience from other market areas is a strong plus
• First leadership experience e.g. from project management roles is a plus
• Ability to automate data management processes using Python
• Fluent in German and English
