Head of Psychiatric Services (m/w/d) in Hildburghausen Your Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage inpatient psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care, focusing on gerontopsychiatry and specialized treatment programs.
• Oversee the integration of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy, and elements of systemic and psychodynamic methods such as mentalization-based therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.
• Develop and implement targeted interventions for patients experiencing suicidal crises, acute stress, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders.
• Coordinate comprehensive psychiatric services including general psychiatry, addiction medicine, and outpatient care across multiple clinical sites in southern Thuringia.

Candidate Profile:

• Board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in adult psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment.
• Additional qualifications in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy are advantageous.
• Commitment to training and mentoring medical trainees and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proven leadership skills characterized by a cooperative management style, high responsibility, and strategic decision-making.
• Ability to balance medical quality with economic considerations and maintain strong partnerships with community physicians.
• Compliance with legal immunization requirements, including proof of measles vaccination.
