Aufgaben

About the Position

Nickel is looking for a Sales & Growth Manager to enable the adoption of Nickel by the largest number by launching, developing and animating the network of points of sale all over the German territory. Our target is to open successfully 5.000 POS in the coming 5 years.

You will be reporting directly to the CEO of Nickel Germany and you are an active member of the German Management Committee. The position requires travel across Germany.

Nickel points of sale are mainly Lotto Toto shops in Germany, registered as payment agents. In addition to the direct business relationship between Nickel and POS, Nickel has already identified key strategy distribution partners in Germany, able to introduce us to a lot of POS in Germany, such as ILO Profit.

Your main missions will be:

  • Plan and execute the distribution strategy for Nickel Germany;
  • Recruit, train and manage your sales team (10 Sales Representatives as of today);
  • Manage the relationship with our distribution partners;
  • Find eventually new distribution partners and key accounts;
  • Develop the Nickel network in Germany by prospecting new POS;
  • Train and launch the POS;
  • Perform regular visits to the POS;
  • Define and control the key sales indicators;
  • Implement an efficient team organization;
  • Set and administer an annual sales & distribution budget;
  • Present on a regular basis results and outlook to Top Management;
  • Be the link between your team and the operation team.

For all those missions, you will be working very closely with central teams in France who will provide all the necessary support.

In addition, to ensure the sustainability of Nickel, you will:

  • Prevent the risks associated with your activities, and more particularly, Anti Money Laundering risks;
  • Ensure the proper optimization of the resources mobilized.

Qualifikation

About the Profile

The ideal candidate should have the following profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales & Distribution Manager/Director or other managerial position;
  • Experience in developing and managing retail networks, to have direct contact with German stakeholder such as local shops, associations, organizations;
  • Knowledge of at least one the following sectors is a must: Lotto, Pre-paid products, Tobacco, Financial Services, Beverage or other products sold at retail level;
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills: you will oversee the sales and distribution department and guide its day-to-day operations;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Ability to present, to convince and to federate;
  • Fluent in German and in English.
