Tasks

• Collaborate to the design, development, and optimization of speech recognition systems for in-vehicle applications
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to integrate speech recognition features seamlessly into automotive platforms
• Analyze and evaluate speech recognition systems and their implementation in infotainment platforms on test benches, in vehicles and through automation.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve accuracy, robustness, and performance
• Work closely with external partners, suppliers, and academic institutions to leverage industry best practices and stay at the forefront of speech recognition technologyAnalyze competitor vehicles and define goals for speech recognition development projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Phonetics or related field
• Hands-on experience in speech recognition research and development, preferably in the automotive industry would be beneficial
• Experience with cloud-based speech recognition services and APIs
• Knowledge in HMI and usability
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Fluent in German and English
