Your responsibilities

• Cell culture of cancer cell lines and primary cancer cells
• Mid/High throughput CRISPR KO and RNAi assays
• RNA/DNA/Protein extraction and Western blot
• Transformation, Miniprep, Maxiprep
• Lab management tasks such as receiving and inventory of laboratory consumables
• Draft SOPs
• Preparation and aliquoting of media and reagents
• Preparation of lab consumables (e.g. coating of cell culture vessels)
• Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Coordination of maintenance for laboratory instruments with service contracts.
• Autoclaving and waste disposal

Our requirements

• Masters degree in life sciences, Biology or related field
• Experience with working in a research laboratory
• Proven experience in cell culture of cell lines and primary cancer cells
• Proven experience in mid/high throughput experiments
• Fluent in English and German
