Lead Neurologist (m/w/d) for Specialized Clinical Care in the Greater Cottbus Area YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Neurologist (m/w/d) for a well-established hospital in the Greater Cottbus region. This full-time position offers a direct employment relationship with our client. YOUR PROFILE

• Completed medical degree with German medical license (Approbation)
• Specialist qualification in Neurology (m/w/d) with several years of professional experience
• Candidates in advanced stages of neurological specialization are explicitly encouraged to apply
• Proficient German language skills (minimum level C1)
• Extensive clinical expertise, especially in acute neurological care and intensive treatment
• Interest in a broad neurological spectrum, including functional diagnostics and neurorehabilitation
• Commitment to advancing clinical processes and contributing to department development
• Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementing an interdisciplinary treatment concept tailored for patients with severe neurological conditions at the earliest stage of their illness
• Supporting patients on their path to regaining autonomy and quality of life
• Actively shaping and expanding the neurological department and clinical services
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and other hospital departments to maintain high-quality standards
• Providing comprehensive medical care including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Participating in on-call duties
• Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff
• Monitoring compliance with medical standards and participating in quality assurance initiatives
• Ensuring and optimizing clinical workflows and processes
• Leading, coordinating, coaching, and providing ongoing education for medical and nursing personnel
