Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth production processes and high availability of machines and equipment

• Support and report to the supervisor in daily operations

• Act as the supervisor’s representative during their absence

• Ensure timely escalation of production, quality, or safety issues

• Identify, sort out, and label defective parts daily in accordance with quality standards

• Coordinate and support daily work organization within the team (task allocation, rotation, performance tracking)

• Ensure adherence to standardized work procedures

• Monitor, improve, and optimize processes with regard to quality, efficiency, and 5S standards

• Apply core quality principles – first article inspection, self-inspection, and final inspection

• Conduct and support employee training and onboarding

• Monitor production materials and request replenishment via the supervisor when necessary

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Support root cause analysis and define containment actions in case of quality or process issues

• Actively contribute to continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, PDCA)

• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of production and quality data

• Participate in daily meetings and provide feedback on performance, scrap, and rework

• Perform operational tasks at machines and workstations (assembly, testing, inspection of components)

• Package and label customer products in accordance with work and inspection instructions

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in a technical or production-related field

• Experience in plastics processing or automotive manufacturing

• Previous experience in leading small teams or acting as a deputy supervisor

• Strong sense of responsibility and initiative regarding quality and results

• Team player with solid communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Good manual skills and technical understanding

• Confident use of Windows, Word, Excel, and SAP

• Knowledge of Lean principles (5S, PDCA, problem solving) is an advantage

• Good command of German (spoken and written); English skills are a plus

• Reliable, precise, and proactive working style

• Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions
