Legal Counsel (m/w/d)

We’re recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join the legal function of a leading U.S. technology firm.

This person will provide legal advice, particularly regarding commercial contracts while reporting to the legal lead in the German office.

Tasks

• Offer guidance on German regulations to ensure compliance across business operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts to align with local frameworks in multiple jurisdictions.
• Support and manage a wide range of business transactions, including issues related to exports and insurance.
• Oversee the management and organisation of the company's contract portfolio.
• Ensure smooth execution of complex, large-scale projects by assisting with contract adherence and resolving contractual issues as they arise.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in commercial contract work
• Possess strong communication skills in both English and German, with excellent writing abilities.
• Maintain high attention to detail, balancing thoroughness with efficiency.
• Demonstrate a practical approach to handling commercial transactions.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of responsibility, service orientation, and commitment to quality.
