Your responsibilities

  • Steer and implement improvement initiatives for our eProcurement Buying Platform (SAP Ariba)
  • Ownership and management of e-catalogues, market places and underlying processes
  • Provide a clear focus on driving system and process optimization measures, as well as rolling out new functionalities
  • Steer core tasks that positively affect our Self-Service-Ratio (SSR) and support an increasing move towards automated processes
  • Leverage the analytical capabilities available in the “Data Insights” Pillar to achieve actionable measures that positively impact Automation rates
  • Provide increased focus on the successful collaboration across our regions for the “Ariba Support” Team
  • Active role in identifying training needs and gaps to support user enablement in our community of Procurement experts
  • Close collaboration with relevant Procurement areas across the different functions and regions
  • Support the transformation of Procurement by sharing, expanding and widening the footprint of expertise
  • Close collaboration with teams in Procurement, IT and Accounting to help drive E2E process improvements
  • Proactive and performance-oriented way of working while seeking (and engaging) with empowerment opportunities

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or comparable studies
  • Min. 5 years experience in the Procurement and/or energy industry (comparable large cap or investment intensive industries are welcome)
  • Proven track record of steering successful improvement initiatives in eProcurement
  • Expert knowledge in using SAP Ariba and/or equivalent eProcurement/ P2P platforms
  • Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders, conflicting requirements & cross-functional overlaps
  • Good analytical skills combined with the resilience needed to assess processes in detail and drive improvements to conclusion
  • Experience in dealing with international teams and appreciation for cultural differences and diversity
  • Creative and open-minded personality with a good sense of humour
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English required (German knowledge a clear plus)
