We are looking:

for a personality with professional experience, in the field of wind energy and/or photovoltaics. You are fluent in German and English, and you are used to work independently and to take over responsibility. Then you can expect an interesting job in a worldwide growing industry.

You are not only going to create resource maps of wind and solar projects worldwide but also calculate the resulting energy yield and the feasibility of the projects. The creation of environmental surveys such as sound studies, shadow studies and visualizations are also part of your duties, as well as GIS based spatial analysis and mapping. As a team member of one of the world's largest renewable energy project developers you are going to work together with the senior management and the head of development, in order to contribute significantly to the further development of the division. At SOWITEC you can expect an environment with flat hierarchies and short decision paths.

After successfully completing a degree in Meteorology, Geography, Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energies, or any other comparable program, you have ideally already gained experience in a company related with wind or solar projects. You have knowledge in Python or R and you are familiar with WindPro, WAsP, Meteodyn, CFD, or GIS and you command very good MS Office skills. An analytical way of thinking is just as important as your responsible and independent way of working in an international team.
