Your tasks

The Sourcing Department is one of the centrepieces of KoRo! The position of Purchaser Raw Materials - Food (m/f/d) at KoRo offers you, as an ambitious purchasing specialist, an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills to a fast-growing and dynamic company. In this position, you will assist in the procurement of raw materials for our products and ensure that they are delivered in the highest quality and at competitive prices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operational support in the structuring and implementation of projects in raw materials purchasing - strong focus on the global purchasing of our products in the breakfast, cooking & baking sector.
• Support in the co-design of the purchasing strategy for the various product groups in the area of raw materials and in the process-related implementation.
• Collaboration in the identification of cost reduction potentials in the supply chain as well as support in the derivation and implementation of initiatives.
• Participation in the selection and qualification of new suppliers and products.
• First independent projects in contract / price negotiations and supplier visits.
• Contributing to the optimisation of processes and tools for the ongoing improvement of purchasing processes and being the contact person within the team.

Your profile

• You have at least 1-2 years of professional experience in the retail/FMCG sector, ideally with initial experience in global raw materials purchasing.
• You have a degree in business administration, economics or a similar field or have completed a corresponding apprenticeship.
• You live in Berlin or the surrounding area and are happy to be on site at our headquarters in Schöneberg.
• You have a very good command of German and English.
• You have a strategic and data-driven mindset and your decisions are based on thorough analyses.
• Your way of working is characterised by a high level of structure and organisation, which enables you to manage complex tasks and projects responsibly.
• Your hands-on mentality and perseverance are among your personal strengths.
• Last but not least, you are a real team player with strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships.
