What you can do for us

• User-level testing of devices, both manually and with automated tools
• Taking over test case execution tasks from start to finish
• Gaining a detailed understanding of the product and updating the test case tool with the test execution results
• Writing and maintaining black-box test cases based on well-defined functional requirements and writing test cases (not test plans)
• Execution of a set of test cases assigned by a test lead, performing automated functional tests
• Identifying critical bugs
• Delivering reproducible defect reports
• Understand software internals, debug issues using log files and reproduce faulty product behaviour to help developers or other testers and identify, track bugs found
• Write bug reports to verify that fixed bugs are actually fixed
• Keeping team members informed of issues that affect you and escalating concerns promptly and appropriately
• Managing directly assigned tasks

The skills that are needed

• Verbal fluency in Dutch- native or bilingual proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of 3 or more years
• Experience working as part of a team against deadlines with multiple stakeholders
• High affinity for software, computers and consumer electronics as a consumer
