Senior Director Quality Assurance (m/f/d)
Location: Remote/Home Office, with occasional travel

Aufgaben

• Management of a department with a total of 110 employees.
• Oversee the quality management system and all GMP processes to ensure the highest standards.
• Lead, train, and develop the QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Manage and enhance quality processes, conduct internal and external audits, and ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA).
• Evaluate and audit contract manufacturers, mitigate potential risks in manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with external partners to define quality requirements and drive process improvements.
• Analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements to support strategic decisions.

Qualifikation

• Scientific degree in Life Sciences, Medicine or Pharmacy
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical QA, particularly in contract manufacturing, with a proven track record in QMS implementation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of national and international regulations and GMP guidelines.
• Experience in risk assessment, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resilience, and commitment to quality and ethics.
• Fluency in German (min. C1) and English
