ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM
The scale of the opportunity ahead of us is immense – and we need to further develop and strengthen our customer base in Germany. In this exciting and central role, you will be responsible for generating new insurance software sales for the industry P&C. This position is responsible for managing the strategy and complex sales cycle for Keylane solution - Axon.

You will report directly to the VP Sales and Marketing and you are part of an international Sales team. Our Sales and Marketing team bring our solution to the attention of insurers within the Netherlands, Belgium, Nordics and DACH. You will communicate and work with many internal stakeholders including Product Development, Delivery, Finance, Legal and Sales to develop a long-term partnership with our clients.

In this Directors role you are accountable for the entire sales cycle from qualifying new leads, responding to RFI/RFP’s, proposal, presentations, demonstration, managing Proof of Concepts and leading contract negotiations.

You love client interaction and seek new challenges and solutions in every sales deal. Alternatively, your strengths are in focusing on research and approaching decision-makers at our German prospects. You are eager to deep dive in our prospects business and are able to arouse their interest in the Keylane solutions. You are the local representative of our values and goals for our prospects.

ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently build and maintain a deep sales pipeline through cold calling, creating leads generation campaigns with our Marketing experts, attending (online and offline) and conferences, networking, etc.
  • Develop relationships at all levels including C-level and collaborate with our (internal) stakeholders/partners to define, recommend, and drive sales strategy
  • Execute a sales plan that provides complete territory coverage for assigned accounts
  • Develop appropriate sales programs and solutions; maintain up-to-date competitive information and compile regional success stories
  • Coordinate contract negotiations
  • Meet with senior customer contacts to build credibility and develop lasting relationships
  • Drive account planning, customer/market analysis, and strategy sessions
  • Monitor competitive activity and competitor solutions
  • Keeping SFDC timely and accurately
  • Coordinate and close contract negotiations
  • High-energy self-starter
  • Proven track record in the insurance industry, selling complex software solutions and services
  • Solid knowledge and work experience within the German P&C Insurance domain.
  • Technologically savvy with a keen eye for market trends, technologies and innovations in your field
  • Proven ability to work as part of an extended sales team
  • Native German, both written and spoken, and fluent in English.
  • Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
