We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer -PHP (m/f/d) to join one of our partner companies and develop their backend IT strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on the new and further development of the platform while having the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you’ll:
Develop and enhance our partner company’s new platform (Symfony, API Platform, MySQL, Kubernetes/Rancher)
Collaborate with the team to conceptualise new backend components
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and contribute to their ongoing development
Maintain and improve the existing backend tech stack (Symfony, Zend)
Engage in continuous personal development through training, research, and team collaboration
Your Profile
Strong knowledge of PHP 8 and frameworks—ideally Symfony and/or API Platform
Proficient in server-side debugging
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of unit testing and a commitment to maintainable, readable code
Comfortable working with Linux
Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus
Independent work style and openness to new technologies
Friendly and motivated team player
Excellent communication skills in German. English is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in Germany for our partner company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
