Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine with Cardiology Focus in Nuremberg Your New Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Consultant (m/w/d) specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Cardiology for a well-established clinic in the greater Nuremberg area. This position offers a direct employment contract with the clinic. Our recruitment consultancy supports you throughout the entire application process at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care and management for patients with internal medicine and cardiology conditions, ensuring high standards of treatment and patient safety.
• Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to integrated patient care.
• Participate actively in the internal medicine on-call duty, including the heart catheter service with 24-hour infarct emergency availability.
• Utilize and master all common non-invasive cardiological procedures such as transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
• Guide and supervise medical trainees and junior staff, fostering a learning environment.

Your Profile

• Board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine with a strong interest and experience in both non-invasive and invasive cardiology; additional qualification in Intensive Care Medicine is advantageous.
• Aspires to take on senior medical responsibilities within a thriving clinical setting, including leadership and educational roles.
• Demonstrates excellent social skills, an open and empathetic approach to patient care, and enjoys working in a team.
• Exhibits high commitment, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to acquire further skills in coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions if not already experienced.
• Comfortable working within interprofessional teams and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
