Senior Consultant Neurology – Geriatric Neurology Lead (m/w/d) in Düsseldorf YOUR OPPORTUNITY!

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in Neurology with a focus on geriatric neurological care for a well-established hospital near Düsseldorf. This position offers a direct employment contract with the hospital and is supported by a professional personnel consultancy that will guide you confidentially and free of charge throughout the entire application process.

Your Responsibilities

• Comprehensive clinical management of inpatient and outpatient neurological patients with an emphasis on elderly care
• Active participation in the development and expansion of the stroke unit and neurological department
• Execution and supervision of advanced diagnostic procedures, including extracranial and transcranial Doppler/duplex sonography
• Leadership and mentoring of assistant physicians, including training and performance evaluation
• Engagement in on-call duties and emergency neurological care

Your Profile

• Board-certified Neurologist (m/w/d) with recognized specialist qualification
• Proven experience in acute neurology, particularly stroke management
• Proficiency in neurological ultrasound techniques
• Additional qualifications in geriatrics and neurological intensive care are highly desirable
• Commitment to advancing a new specialized department
• Strong leadership skills, reliability, flexibility, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary teamwork
