Candidate Profile:

• Valid medical license (Approbation) recognized in Germany
• Board certification in oncology with substantial clinical experience
• Deep knowledge of diagnostic procedures and therapeutic strategies across a range of oncological diseases including hematologic malignancies and solid tumors
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication abilities combined with empathy in patient and family interactions
• Commitment to continuous professional development and research involvement
• Ability to contribute to clinical guideline development and quality assurance programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate comprehensive oncological care ensuring adherence to the latest evidence-based medical standards
• Develop individualized treatment plans integrating chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Chair and actively participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, collaborating with radiologists, pathologists, and surgical specialists
• Mentor and supervise a team of 6-8 physicians including assistant doctors and fellows
• Contribute to clinical research projects and facilitate participation in national and international trials
• Oversee training programs and organize continuous medical education sessions for clinical staff
• Manage on-call duties on a rotational basis, ensuring high-quality emergency care
• Report directly to the medical director and engage in strategic planning for oncology service expansion
