We are Gemma Analytics: a Berlin-based company specializing in generating insights in high-performance data infrastructure. Gemma was founded in early 2020 by two data enthusiasts. Ever since we have helped over 60 companies to become more data-driven and successful. We have a fun, honest, and inclusive work environment. Tasks

At Gemma Analytics, we empower startups and SMEs to unlock the full potential of their data. As a Data Consultant, you will serve as a strategic partner for our clients, ensuring that their data initiatives align with their business goals. You’ll manage projects end-to-end, from initial scoping to final delivery, while collaborating closely with both clients and our internal team of analytics engineers and data analysts.

With an established team of three Data Consultants already managing a diverse client portfolio, we are expanding to meet the demands of our growing customer base. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful projects, build lasting relationships, and align cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

• You make sure we solve problems for our clients, not only building dashboards
• You move the needle for our clients - you are the enabler for our data and analytics engineers to unlock actual impact for our clients, then you make sure the created impact is communicated and understood well by our clients
• You understand the most important business KPIs easily after speaking to responsible stakeholders, being a high-quality sparring partner
• You manage expectations, relationships, and the perceived happiness of our clients

Requirements

You excel at building strong client relationships, managing projects with precision, and ensuring alignment between strategy and execution. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing multiple projects while maintaining a focus on delivering value.

Besides that, we are looking for the following:

• At least 3 years of experience in data consulting, analytics, or a related field
• Proven expertise in project management, with a track record of delivering successful data projects
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex client relationships
• Solid understanding of data analytics concepts, tools, and technologies, including SQL, data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and dbt
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English and German
• Preferred: You have strong expertise in one or more core data areas (e.g. product/marketing/operational/etc. analytics)
