Senior Electric Vehicle Consultant (m/w/d)

With our head office in Norway we know a thing or two about the adoption of electric vehicles – come and join our international team of experts to help accelerate the EV revolution.

Assisting our customers with the opportunities and challenges of the shift to EVs is a core element of the DNV vision for a faster energy transition. To focus our efforts on solutions that maximize value to our customers, Energy Systems has launched an Electric Vehicle Market Venture and is now looking for an electric vehicle senior consultant to lead our work with the automotive sector in Europe. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and nurturing automotive customer relationships, discovering needs and quantifying how DNV can add value.
• Working with regional teams to pursue electric vehicle opportunities with automotive manufacturers.
• Working with regional teams to deliver technical advisory services
• Working with the EV Venture team on innovation and service development.
• Fostering a relevant internal and external network.
• Collaborating with Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs to position DNV in the automotive OEM sector.
• Developing knowledge of competitors and DNV’s relative strengths and weaknesses, including win/loss analyses for all automotive closed deals.
• Monitoring, managing and reporting on the automotive sales funnel.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, science, maths or economics.
• Strong domain knowledge and consulting experience in the automotive sector, transport electrification, batteries or a related field.
• Ideally with experience of automotive manufacturing.
• Ideally with a network in the automotive sector who would value DNV’s independent electrical expertise and battery knowledge.
• Behavioural flexibility to build customer relationships and adapt easily.
• Persuasive and persistent
• Fluent in English, abilities in German is a plus

• Head of Electric Vehicles Venture, within Growth, Innovation and Digital Global Unit.

Place of work

• Ideally Germany, other DNV offices in Europe considered.
