Position Description

As a (Senior) Embedded Linux Software Engineer at Cinemo, you will be part of our system integration development team. Together with your other highly qualified and motivated team members, you will work on hardware abstraction layers connecting our embedded media application and the underlying hardware, ensuring high software quality and revolutionary features.

In this role, you will:

• Develop hardware-related software
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot of bootloader and operating system
• Create prototypes of new products
• Work on image builds and composition
• Produce high quality code to maintain and defend the company's leadership position
• Maintain and improve existing software solutions
• Test and ensure high software quality
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation

What you will need to succeed:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficient knowledge of Embedded Linux
• Good knowledge of C/C++ programming language
• Finding passion in working with different hardware and building images is a plus
• You are self-motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
