We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d) who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing all FP&A processes for Sirion Biotech and the BioProduction and Base Editing portfolio in Horizon Discovery. The role will work cross-functionally to lead all aspects of FP&A and BU partnership. Finally, the role will work closely with Revvity (parent company) to communicate Sirion’s results and financial forecasts and with Horizon FP&A to communicate the licensing portfolio results.
Main responsibilities:
Lead FP&A processes for Sirion business, including providing forecasting, variance analysis and commentary
Partner with cross-functional business teams to support annual and strategic long-range planning for key initiatives
Develop reporting tools to track Revenue, COGS and OpEx and provide associated analyses on risks and opportunities
Engage with business leaders to evaluate opportunities, prioritize, and make trade-off decisions to deliver on financial commitments
Qualifications:
Very good understanding of US GAAP
Excellent communication skills in German and English (verbal and written)
Ability to communicate, partner, and influence both cross-functionally and in a matrixed environment
Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Developed presentation skills in financial data, pay attention to detail and accuracy of information
Familiarity with Datev, HFM, and Essbase a plus
