Job Description

As Manager within our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for consulting clients on data solutions and will manage a project team to enable real business outcomes for our enterprise. You will architect, design, estimate, develop and deploy cutting edge software products and services that leverage large scale data ingestion, processing, storage and querying, in-stream & batch analytics for Cloud and on-prem environments.

As a hands-on technologist with a programming background, you will join an exciting, talented and supportive community of Data Engineers who are passionate about building the best possible solutions for our clients and endorse a culture of life-long learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with at least one of the leading public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud)

Experience in architecting data pipelines and solutions for both streaming and batch integrations using open source tools and frameworks like Apache Airflow, Spark, Glue and other cloud native services

Advanced skills in Python or Java/Scala, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL

Understanding of data modelling, warehouse design and fact/dimension concepts

Good communication and willingness to work as a team

Demonstrable experience in enterprise level data platforms involving implementation of end to end data pipelines

Willingness to occasional travelling is required

Nice to have:

Experience in Project and Stakeholder Management

Expertise in Cloud Architecture
