We are seeking a dedicated Senior Medical Director (m/w/d) specializing in Pneumology for a well-regarded hospital located in the Thuringia region. Your Profile:

• You hold a valid German medical license (Approbation).
• Completed specialist training in Internal Medicine with additional qualification in Pneumology.
• A professional with extensive knowledge in both internal medicine and pneumology, combined with strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
• Experience in pneumological oncology and interventional pneumology, with a keen interest in scientific research questions.
• Proven track record in a senior clinical leadership role.

Your Responsibilities:

• Acting as deputy to the chief physician within all core competencies of the department.
• Active participation across the full spectrum of the pneumology department and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration with other medical specialties.
• Leading efforts to establish innovative treatment methods and contributing to external educational events.
• Continuous improvement of work processes within the department.
• Supervising and mentoring assistant physicians in training.
• Engagement in senior physician on-call duties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
