Senior Medical Specialist (m/w/d) for Arthroscopic and Joint-Preserving Surgery in the Greater Leipzig Area YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Medical Specialist (m/w/d) to join a well-established hospital in the Greater Leipzig region. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Possession of a valid German medical license (Approbation).
• Board certification in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery with a focus on arthroscopic and joint-preserving surgical techniques.
• Additional qualifications such as Special Trauma Surgery, Special Orthopedic Surgery, or Sports Medicine, along with expertise in radiation protection.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DRG billing systems and medical controlling.
• Strong team orientation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovative medical practices.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and collegial work culture.
• Flexibility regarding duty schedules, including participation in consultative and on-call services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Active involvement in a high-level trauma center with SAV accreditation, contributing to its specialized care services.
• Independent management of both acute and elective patients, performing all necessary surgical procedures during core and duty hours.
• Engagement across the full spectrum of orthopedic and trauma surgery, with emphasis on spine surgery.
• Participation in on-call and standby duties to ensure continuous patient care.
• Mentorship and training of junior medical staff to foster professional development.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including neurosurgery and plastic surgery departments, enhancing comprehensive patient treatment.
