We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Physician / Consultant (m/f/d) specializing in Neonatology for a well-established hospital in the Braunschweig area. This role offers a direct employment contract with the hospital, and our recruitment partner, Doc PersonalBeratung, provides complimentary support throughout the application and hiring process.

Your Profile:

• You hold a valid medical license (Approbation) recognized in Germany and are a board-certified pediatrician with specialization in Neonatology or Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine.
• You are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and thrive in a dynamic, modern clinical environment.
• You demonstrate strong leadership skills, social competence, and empathy, essential for managing a sensitive and demanding field.
• You are a proactive team player with the ability to work independently and foster collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Your Responsibilities:

• Providing expert clinical leadership and management for the Neonatology and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, including associated areas such as the delivery room and postnatal ward.
• Leading the care and stabilization of high-risk preterm and newborn infants both in the delivery suite and during interfacility transports.
• Participating actively in the on-call rotation to ensure continuous expert availability.
• Supervising and mentoring junior physicians and nursing staff, contributing to structured training programs and professional development.
• Delivering bedside teaching and educational sessions for medical students and trainees.
• Collaborating with hospital administration and interdisciplinary teams to maintain and enhance care quality and safety standards.
