We are looking for a mechanical/electrical engineer with experience designing and testing electromechanically systems and equipment with 4 years or more experience. Ideally with experience in medical or automotive devices development or other regulated industries.As the Senior Project Engineer, we expect that you would be able to:
Demonstrate specialized engineering knowledge and experience in advanced processes. A staff engineer will be someone whose engineering expertise translates into streamlined and cost-effective processes.Independently, efficiently, and effectively work within a compressed manufacturing schedule to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Evaluate existing processes and procedures to identify areas that need optimization.Drive and implement DFM(X) activities crossfunctionally.Work with R&D and NPD teams to drive and implement best manufacturing practices.Independently develop approaches to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.Use the latest engineering techniques to reduce product time to market whilst adhering to regulatory requirements, project deadlines, and product costs. Build productive internal and external working relationships and may periodically provide mentoring and training to other team members.Provide exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Apply safety standards and adhere to medical industry regulations.Leadership Responsibilities:
Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills are essential.Individuals must possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to coach and mentor individuals in technical skills and people development areas. The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results-driven team-based environment with flexibility essential. Demonstrated leadership, project management, and engineering experience in new product introduction in a regulated environment preferred.Functional Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support for new products and processes introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented by Stryker new product development procedures.Ensures quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.Will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements.Work with R&D and AO engineers to develop equipment and tools to support new and advanced manufacturing processes.Will analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and result from analysis.Lead and/or participate in process review meetings.Designs and implement electromechanical processes for current and new products. Works closely with design engineers to quickly identify process issues that may result in design changes.Able to conduct Gauge R&R, DOEs, and CP/CPK analysis. Participates in DFM, PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches.Conducts MSA studies for new products and new processes.Introduces new manufacturing and process technology. Collaborates with the engineering teams on prototype developments.Projects the costs and timeframes of projects, as well as creating work schedules and setting deadlines.Conduct & Compliance

Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills with high problem solving and process improvement orientation critical.Requires an analytical, logical, and strategic thought process.Experience in developing electromechanical equipmentFamiliarity with automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing.Familiarity with mechanical metrology tools and inspection equipmentExperience in process mapping, statistical methods, and process/ product validations would prove beneficial.Excellent PC skills (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).Experience in managing new products or process teams is preferable.Must be able to observe and correct reports' inconsistencies (, product appearance, systems’ gaps, etc.).Must be able to generate and explain detailed schedules, performance, and design objectives.Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.Must be able to communicate with large groups of peopleMust be able to review printed materialsEducation & Qualifications
