Our partner, a well-known German retailer, is seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager (m/f/d). This is a full-time position in the Düsseldorf metropolitan area, Germany (hybrid work environment).

Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well.

Tasks

What You’ll Do:

• Leading large SAP projects or project streams aimed at enhancing procurement solutions
• Overseeing stakeholder relationships and coordinating with subject matter experts and business analysts to ensure project objectives are met
• Managing the entire project lifecycle, from the planning phase to successful deployment
• Facilitating alignment and collaboration across different departments and products in a global setting
• Reporting on project progress and outcomes to senior management and key stakeholders

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

• At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects
• 1+ years of experience with managing SAP-related projects
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in English (at least C1)

Nice to have skills:

• Background in Supply chain/Buying/Procurement
• Technical knowledge of the SAP S/4 ecosystem to facilitate cutover and migration processes
• Understanding of agile methodologies and practices
• Proficiency in German language
