As our first engineer, you'll work directly with our founding team - a veteran CTO and experienced Venture Builder - to architect and scale our platform from zero to one.

Tasks

• Own and shape core features end-to-end, from ideation to production
• Design our technical foundation and infrastructure for rapid growth
• Make key architectural decisions that will define our tech trajectory
• Ship high-quality, tested code that sets standards for the team
• Join building and leading our engineering team from the ground up
• Work directly with founders to shape product vision and strategy

Requirements

Must-Have

• Proven track record shipping production systems
• Deep expertise in full-stack development (5+ years, Rails focus)
• History of taking ownership and driving technical excellence
• Strong product instincts and user-centric thinking
• Professional fluency in English or German

Nice-to-Have

• Modern Rails ecosystem experience (Hotwire, StimulusJS)
• Eye for great user experiences and product design
• Passion for practical AI applications
