We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Vascular Surgery Specialist (m/w/d) to join a highly regarded hospital in the Leipzig region. Candidate Profile

• Possession of German medical license (Approbation) is mandatory.
• Board-certified specialist in vascular surgery with extensive experience in both open and endovascular procedures.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing complex aortic diseases, including proficiency in vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong organizational mindset and a commitment to process optimization.
• Ability to maintain composure and clear judgment under pressure and in complex clinical scenarios.
• A doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
• High levels of motivation, adaptability, initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing a comprehensive range of vascular surgical and endovascular interventions independently.
• Managing patient care from diagnosis through treatment, ensuring efficient ward operations.
• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams such as cardiology, nephrology, neurology, diabetology, plastic surgery, interventional radiology, and visceral surgery.
• Supervising and mentoring medical trainees during their rotations, imparting surgical knowledge and skills.
• Contributing actively to the clinic's strategic development and expansion in vascular surgery.
• Taking on organizational duties within the department to enhance clinical workflows.
• Participating in on-call duties to provide continuous patient care.
