For our customer in Tussenhausen, we are looking for a "Flight Mechanics Engineer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) Aerodynamic Modelling" at the earliest possible date.

Stellenbeschreibung

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-fidelity 6DOF simulation models for fixed-wing aircraft
• Create, process, and validate aerodynamic models based on CFD, wind tunnel, and flight test data
• Perform handling-qualities analyses, pilot-in-the-loop evaluations, and metric-based assessments to derive design recommendations
• Support fly-by-wire and flight-control system development through vehicle modelling, requirements input, and simulation-based verification
• Prepare certification and verification documentation, including simulation reports, traceability, test cases, qualification evidence, and flight-test support

Anforderungsprofil

• Completed studies in the field of Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering
• Work experience in the field of Flight Mechanics, Aircraft Simulation Models, Military Aircrafts and Wind-Tunnel testing
• Very good programming skills in Python and MATLAB/Simulink
• Fluent in English
