We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Simulation Software Engineer" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:
- Support the design of the service-oriented architecture for the Synthetic Environment based on different project needs
- Design and implement services of the Synthetic Environment required by different training simulators in line with stakeholder needs
- Design and implement software interfaces between different services and external systems
- Develop and maintain software solutions in C++ that support operational and technical requirements from various projects to provide a realistic simulation
- Continuous integration and testing of the developed services
- Apply DevOps principles and tools
- Support software verification activities
- Analyse the cause of reported issues and issue fixing
- Documentation of software design, interfaces and tests
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development are mandatory
- Experience in developing distributed / services-oriented systems would be a plus
- Experience in synthetic environments for training simulators is an advantage
- Very good knowledge in modern C++ is required
- Knowledge in CMake, Conan, Git, Jenkins and Docker/Podman should be present
- Fluent in English
- German knowledge is nice to have
