Stress Engineer (f/m/d)
For our well-known customer Airbus, we are looking for a new team member! Your Tasks Analysis of structural parts, components and installations made from metal and carbon fiber using state-of-the-art analysis tools, FEM techniques and classic handbook methods
Trade off analysis for different design solutions and concepts
Preparation of analysis reports and statements to support airframe qualification
Support to define test requirements and means of compliance
Assessment of damages and development of repairs for in-service A/C
Support of the Design Office and Mechanical System installation
Communication to relevant stakeholders and departments
Your Profile Degree in engineering or in aerospace or equivalent
Professional experience in aerospace and stress engineering
Good knowledge of common stress analysis methods
Knowledge of design principles and manufacturing processes as well as materials (metals and fiber composites) is desirable
In-depth knowledge of FE modeling techniques, including pre- and post-processing, is required
Relevant experience in the application of specific tools for stress and fatigue analysis is mandatory
