Your Responsibilities

  • Setup and administration of IT infrastructure, including Wifi and LAN networks, the Internet, routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Administer and maintain servers, desktop computers, printers, phones, software deployment, security updates, and patches

  • Ensure system design allows all components to work properly together and manage a smooth business continuity process (backup, disaster recovery, etc.)

  • Define requirements and timelines for new projects and environment upgrades/changes

  • Develop and improve tools to aid operations and maintenance

  • Provide support for IT-relevant topics like data privacy or security

Your ideal background and skillset

  • Several years of experience in network and system administration

  • Strong experience in Linux and good understanding of internet concepts

  • Experienced with cybersecurity concepts and setting up inhouse infrastructure such as hardware and software firewalls

  • A practical and hands-on approach toward problem-solving

  • Fluency in English, German is a plus!
