These challenges await you
Technical responsibility of the system architecture for steering wheel systems
Functional owner (system architect) of the HOD (Hands ON/OFF) system in the steering wheel.
Simulation of the system behavior in Matlab. Definition of the algorythm for hand detection (HOD) with implementation of customer requirements
Analysis of customer requirements (internal & external) and evaluation regarding technical feasibility
Definition of system boundaries and system interfaces
Coordination, monitoring and execution of tests to robustify the HOD algorithm
Co-work with other departments externally & internally
Analysis of measurement results, analysis of error causes and definition of measures to improve the algorithm and hardware of the HOD system
Perform analysis, concept studies and reviews of internal and external requests through the project and their impact on the system architecture
Responsibility for robust algorithm design to ensure customer requirements are met
Are you ready for it?
Successfully completed studies in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, computer science or comparable studies
Master's degree in systems engineering or related field
( 5 years of experience in automotive environment
Strong understanding of systems and ability to define complex electrical systems in automotive environment and coordinate with other disciplines (hardware, system, validation, FuSi)
Deep understanding of the physics of capacitive measurement systems
Solid knowledge in software design and hardware design
Good knowledge in the area of functional safety
Creation of safety routines for complex systems
Good knowledge of vector tools (CANoe), Matlab/Simulink
Knowledge of requirements management (DOORS)
Business fluent English
