System Engineer for Airbus (m/w/d)

We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "System Engineer" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Analyse client and customer requirements (specifications)
• Develop system and subsystem concepts and designs, ensuring alignment with the existing product reference architecture and compliance with relevant norms and standards
• Prepare technical requirements documentation (specifications) for approval by the client or customer Oversee downstream development and construction activities to secure interoperability and full system functionality
• Supervise production processes, including monitoring material procurement and supplier performance
• Manage system and subsystem integration, oversee qualification activities, and ensure compliance with product safety standards
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, cost estimations, and schedule planning
• Drive continuous improvement and the evolution of the product reference architecture through the adoption of new technologies

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, aerospace, engineering or a comparable qualification
• More than 4 years of professional experience in the field of engineering and aerospace
• Experience in requirements management, change management, and system design within aviation systems or test facility development is required
• Knowledge and practical experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is required
• Knowledge of industry standards such as EN61010, EN62368 and aviation-specific standards including EN9100, DO-178C, and DO-330 would be an advantage
• Practical experience in system integration as well as conducting qualification, verification and validation tests is desirable
• Familiarity with system engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, Jira, 3DExperience Tool Suite, and Capital is a must have
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office
• Fluent in English and German
