System Engineer in Hydraulic Systems / Hydraulic Development Engineer (all genders) (m/w/d)

For our client, a successful manufacturing company in the hydraulics sector, we are currently looking for a System Engineer (all genders) for the location in North Rhine-Westphalia OR in the rhine-main area. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hydraulic drivetrains, complete hydraulic systems, and measurement, control, and regulation technology.

Tasks

• Design and dimensioning of machinery, drive trains, and hydraulic systems
• Communicate calculations and estimations closely with other departments (e.g., sales or manufacturing)
• Powertrain simulation with AMESIM
• Pre-development of hydraulic systems and collaborative development of measurement, control, and regulation strategies
• Collaboration with international teams and on-site teams in China
• Participation in research projects with relevant institutes and research institutions

Requirements

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering (or similar) or completed vocational training as a technician, or equivalent qualification, is required
• Fluent English skills in speech and writing for internal communication
• Good German language skills
• System knowledge of entire hydraulic systems & expertise in electrical machines and/or entire hydraulic systems
• Broad experience with hydraulic components
• Initial experience in the industry
