Position Details

Job Title: Technical Operator for Stamping and Forming Processes (mid-level technician) Location: Pforzheim Employment Type: Full-time Weekly Hours: 35 to 40 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Independently set up and adjust stamping and forming machines for prototype and small batch production, including manual lever presses, hydraulic bending presses, and swing bending machines.
• Guide and supervise production assistants and insert workers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct first article inspections and approve parts according to technical drawings.
• Perform detailed inspection and documentation of manufacturing steps using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and test indicators.
• Operate and program measuring devices including projectors and coordinate measuring machines (e.g., Keyence IM6125).
• After training, contribute to the design and construction of fixtures and tools using CAD software (VISI 3D).
• Potentially assume full responsibility for production planning and preparation, including leadership tasks, following further qualification.

Candidate Profile

• Completed vocational training as a tool mechanic, machine and plant operator, or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
• Ability to work independently with a strong focus on quality and precision.
• Good command of German language, resilience, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.
