We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Transport General Cargo Specialist" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

  • Managing transportation flows both Inbound and Outbound to achieve service level goals, requirements and expectations
  • Managing the administration and workload associated with Transportation
  • Working with the Management Team in the development of new processes to achieve service excellence
  • Performing additional tasks and assignments as directed by Management
  • Single point of contact for the transportation overseas flows of Airbus Operations and Airbus Aerostructures
  • Coordination of X-plant transport processes
  • Creation of Transport Specifications in order to meet internal customers requirements
  • Perform controlling of service providers
  • Create, challenge, validate change requests, ad-hoc service requests
  • Complaint and Claim management
  • On-Site support within different Airbus sites (HAM, STA, NOR, VAR, BRE and AUG)
  • Partial responsibility on safety (Fremdfirmenkoordination) for all Airbus Operations and Airbus Aerostructures sites
  • Support preparation of capital expenditure (AOP planning)

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in the field of supply chain, economics or a comparable qualification
  • More than two years of professional experience in the field of Customer Service, Supply Chain, Transport sector and Supplier management
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (2-3 times a month domestic/international)
  • Availability for different time module, due to interfaces with China and USA
